	David Shiell Founding Partner, Global Operations Formally trained in Finance, David made the move from finance to Advertising in an effort to escape the restrictive nature of the industry and allow him to 'free his mind'! David's first professional involvement in marketing was as a media planner and buyer at a global traditional media agency MindShare where he worked across all media channels including TV, press, radio, magazine, outdoor and online. With his analytical background, zest for creative input and undying determination, he moved swiftly through the ranks working across a large array of market sectors and accounts such as Ford, Kodak, Kraft, Duracell and Coles Supermarkets. By the time David left MindShare he had made Media Group Head at their Melbourne office in Australia. In 1999, watching the emerging impact online advertising was having in the US and Europe and lacking enough exposure to it in the Asia Pacific rim, David left his native sunny shores and interviewed in both New York and London before taking a role with itraffic/Agency.com, a 'Pure-play' interactive agency. David spent 4 years working with itraffic. Upon his departure he was Account Director, having managed the British Airways and other European accounts as well been instrumental in winning the Hilton International account which he then went on to oversee. David left itraffic in November 2003 to found Web Liquid in the UK. Frustrated by the lack of transparency and willingness of most agencies to see beyond simple marketing communications online, David was spurred on to launch an agency by the constant request of clients to help them with their entire digital marketing strategies, including their need to integrate not just their marketing but sales and operations departments within the interactive space.
